Projects: NNG, CFXD & ZN Presently working As Lead Marine Coordinator on Dominion Energy's Coastal Virginia Offshore Windfarm project in the US.
Primary responsibilities have been, safely monitoring vessel and personnel movements in real time through Vessel Tracking Management Software, plus maintaining offshore communication with all vessels and personnel across the construction site. Developing and updating Marine Coordination and HSE documentation and procedures. Coordinating offshore operations efficiently within deadlines with a primary focus on safety.
Through software, I maintain a site database of all the mentioned offshore personnel on-site training and validation of certification, ensuring all personnel meet the clients training and competency standards.
Working to the clients Marine Coordination Procedures, I record the movement of offshore progress and deliver reports daily during construction meetings.
Chair daily construction coordination meetings and identify any possible work conflicts between contractors/work parties, whilst finalising future work scopes.
In addition to chairing these meetings each day, through preparation I am responsible for establishing all parties' work/ access permits are in place, authorising these work permits whilst ensuring documentation/permit details meet the client's safe system of work requirement
Furthermore, depending on the prevailing circumstances as part of the marine coordination centre, I act as the initial point of contact on site for emergencies as per construction site's emergency response plan.
Initiating the site's emergency response plan I liaise with site management and when required, the emergency services.
I achieve the safe execution of offshore operations by adhering to the offshore wind farms marine coordination procedures and work closely to the guidelines set out in 'G+'.
Whilst maintaining watchkeeping duties of offshore operations, I also conduct administration duties such as, but not limited to, the issuing of vessel manifests and Notice to Mariners.
In January 2023 I was responsible for the implementation of Sea planner Marine Coordination software for both ZN and CFXD projects in Taiwan.
For CFXD this included migrating from Systematic software to Sea planner.
The latest project in the US has required me to set up the initial coordination centre, in Norfolk Virginia, develop Marine Coordination and HSE procedures and train local US employees as Marine and Permit Coordinators.
This included centre design and liaison with the Dominion team regarding permit set up and permitting tools, now serving as the lead marine coordinator on the project.

This team is responsible for the purchasing of all ingredients used in the manufacturing process and all materials used for packaging finished product
Servier's output had increased substantially year on year and they recognised that an improved procurement strategy was needed to sustain supply of materials to the site
I was assigned project lead in designing a central procurement system for consumables for the entire Servier Arklow site. This project involved developing a new inventory management system within Servier's ERP software, working on tenders, appointing new suppliers, setting prices and working with suppliers to improve the supply of materials to the company while reducing costs. I worked closely with the Servier IT and Purchasing departments throughout this process and with the Logistics department to set stock levels and delivery frequency according to warehouse space available.
My experience in creating the new consumables procurement system made me the most suitable candidate for overseeing it, and I was assigned the role of Central Stores Coordinator. This also involved been working with the Servier Performance Team and the Procurement Department to recognize and implement improvements to their systems.
In this role I was responsible for managing over eighty accounts.
