Document test results on proper forms, and submit them to the Resident Engineer. Keep track of the quantity placed to ensure that the testing frequency will be met. Field sample fresh concrete, and test for air, slump, temperature, unit weight, and make cylinders for compressive strength. Field sample PCCP for panels, and make beams for flexural strength, test, and perform breaks. Document test results on proper forms, and submit them to the Resident Engineer. Keep track of multiple testers to ensure documentation is recorded daily and accurately, as material is being placed.
  • Set up and use Total Station/GPS using RTK/Spyder networks. Use survey calculations to establish grade for subgrade/gravel grade.
