The responsibility as a Manager overseeing both System Access/Track Allocation and the PM Planning Scheduling groups continues to this day. There was no plan to backfill the Manager of PM Planning and Scheduling as that PCN was eliminated. Furthermore, the PCN for the Sr. Manager position too was removed from the District. I report directly to the ACMO.
As the Acting Senior Manager of both Track Allocation/System Access (0802855) and the PM Planning and Scheduling Department (0802849), I have been managed the following since the March 2020.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trains throughout the BART system during both revenue and Blanket hours.
• Monitored, analyzed, controlled, and supervised the status of main line rail operations through the use of computer-generated displays, display board indications, computer inputs and voice communications.
• Working and Detailed knowledge of all Roadway Worker Protection Rules, Rail Operations Procedures, Power Support Procedures, Trouble Desk Coordination for Mainline Operations, Emergency Management Planning, and Blanket Operation procedures.
o Communication with all departments in real-time related to On-Time delivery of Revenue Service, including RS&S, Yard Towers, System Service, BART PD, and Transportation Management.
