  • Building Upgrade Projects
  • Arena Wireless Upgrade – worked with Presidio to analyze Arena WiFi
  • Once that was complete, placed orders for all additional AP’s and necessary licenses to be compliant with Cisco.
  • Core Infrastructure Upgrade – worked with PC Connections to order new core switches, as well as workflow process needed to upgrade our DC and MDF.
  • VMWare migration to Nutanix – Nutanix lead project, worked with them to make sure they had access to all current VMware environment to allow migration to Nutanix.
  • Nutanix Migration to VMware – Nutanix couldn’t follow through with everything they promised so we had to work with Lenovo to migrate our environment back over to VMware.
  • Cisco Stadium Vision Upgrade 3 different occasions – Cisco lead this project, I was main point of contact to allow access to all servers.
  • Audio System – Clair Global replaced Yamaha Audio Mixer
  • I worked closely with them to allow access to audio control room as well as assisted with network configurations.
  • Digital Signage – Was lead on taking all static signage over stands and replacing it with digital signage
  • I had to order, track, and account of all components of project
  • Also scheduled electricians and carpenters to make sure all correct items we placed at each stand
  • Did all configuration work on DMP’s for digital signage.
  • Building DAS upgrades – Worked with Crown Castel to schedule access to Arena and allow access to restricted areas of Arena.
  • Building Events
  • Opened Arena in 2010 – There was lots of preparation that went into opening of Arena
  • We did extensive testing of infrastructure to make sure all TV’s, POS systems, WiFi and many other components were running at peak performance
  • Countless hours of testing and making small changes to make sure all guests would have any amazing experience when visiting Arena.
  • Winter Classic 2011 – Worked with IT staff at Pittsburgh Steelers to make sure our production team had access to their control room to produce game entertainment.
  • Hosted NHL Draft in 2012 – Held lead roll for making sure floor of Arena was configured and laid out per NHL guidelines
  • We had to install extra switches to accommodate all additional connections needed on Arena floor
  • Had to configure 2 phones for each team
  • Also had to run multiple lines to each table.
  • Building UMPC Lemieux Sport Complex 2015 – Lead technology side of projects
  • Worked with general contractor and was in charge of third-party contractors
  • Worked with third-party contractors to make sure all equipment was racked and configured, phones configured and setup, setup and tested WiFi and many other components that went into along project.
  • Back to Back Stanley Cups 2016/2017 – Worked with NHL on all their setup needs
  • We created a new VLAN for them to us
  • Building utility removed several rows of seating, which we had to hard wire with network connections and add TV’s for media
  • Had Verizon upgrade our network pipe to 10GB to increase our bandwidth to handle any additional network traffic
  • Managed multiple requests from broadcast companies to fill their network and telephone needs
  • Along with many other tasks need to host Stanley Cup Finales.
  • Stadium Series 2017 - Worked with IT staff at Pittsburgh Steelers to make sure our production team had access to their control room to produce game entertainment.
