  • Verification of weld logs and maps, making sure that they are done correctly and complete. Input all weld logs and maps into BIM360 for the TOP.
  • Conducted tests and bend test verification along with creating WPQ documents for new welders for onsite welding purposes according to B31.1 and D1.1 standards.

  • Office Duties consisted of collecting and building the CTO/TOP documentation for handover when project is completed.
  • Ensure that all TOP documents are correct within the hard copies and the electronic soft copies. Write NCR reports and make sure they have been closed out accordingly. Correct documentation and drawings that were written incorrectly.
  • Participate in the morning planning meetings each day.
  • Oversee QC personnel on the fabrication floor on daily inspections of material receiving, fabrication inspection and completion of module section for the sub fabrication.
  • Assisted when QC personnel were busy on their daily inspection routines to ensure that all fabrication can stay busy and meet deadlines, which consisted of QC material inspection of incoming spool system of Stainless Steel, Copper, Carbon Steel, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and Duct Material. Identify Rack Spool per Drawing, Measure Valve locations and Valve orientation, look at the overall condition of the product to see if it meets standards and specifications. Identify which end of lateral spool goes towards front of line during delivery inspection. Verify Spark test of PSP Stainless Steel Ductwork before assembly. Verify Pressure testing of Ductwork after initial installation into Module. Verify that each section has been torqued properly to spec. Check that the seals have been properly installed. Sign sticker for torque verification at each joint. Measure module to the proper specification and verify torque has been met. Check elevation of ductwork supports, and drain supports for proper slope. Sign module inspection report after inspection of modules. Final walk down of completed modules to check that dimensions are correct for each installed lateral service. Make sure that labels have been applied in their proper location and that POC’s have been tagged with the proper location tag per spec.
  • Inspected and validated vendor documentation for accuracy and consistency with lateral spool specifications as per P&ID and fabrication drawings. Fill out each inspection report for ductwork and laterals that had been delivered. Make sure that all inspection reports for finished modules are correct prior to the wrapping of the module before being shipped to Micron for installation.

  • Visual and dimensional examination of Natural Gas and Petroleum based piping systems according to B31.1, B31.3, and B31.4 standards. Each client had additional qualifications that needed to be met above the ASME codes.
  • Project piping systems were built and inspected for the following companies: Dow Chemical, Dow Poly B, Sinclair, IPL High Energy, LNG Liquefaction (Freeport, TX), Fluor Canada, Net Power, Marcus Hook, Shintech and others.
  • Extensive inspection was required for the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) project for Liquefaction in Freeport, TX, which included MT and PT examinations and had to be certified to perform these NDE processes.
  • Visual and dimensional examinations were conducted under NQA-1 qualifications for Bechtel’s nuclear plant along the Columbia River in Washington. NDT examinations were performed using PT and MT methods.
  • Ensured accuracy of all documentation and drawings, maintaining compliance with regulatory and client specifications.
