I started working at #4 machine as a charge man, take off and stacking, worked my way to Simplex chargeman and take off, RM 1 chargeman and take off, lidder and twist and tuck and baggers, RM 2 chargeman, lidder and putting pails on, Cathy asked me to join the lab and became a Lab specialist with Cathy Hughes working on UL code compliance, testing competitor products versus our product, filled in as a Supervisor until I went back to production. 2005, started working in the Supply Chain department as a Line driver and then went to shipping at the NW. 2008, I had an opportunity to go to GFP as a line driver, loaded containers, centerbeams, flats/vans and boxcars. Worked my way up to a Supervisor in 2011. My team lead the way for Boxcar loading out of Fiberock/Securock in 2011 with an increase from 1 per shift to 3 per shift by improving loading efficiencies and reduced rail moves with increasing the rail length by 2 cars to be more efficient. 2014 became the Loading Foreman. I am involved in our Safety Program, Project Home, 5 S program, Lean Six Sigma, Currently on a DMAIC to reduce boxcar damage, Model Program Administrator for Mobile Equipment, Co Administrator for Fall Prevention, DMAIC on increasing the quantities per boxcar to maximize weight and capture the cost savings, reduced the cost of securement supplies, improved boxcar securement with TY-GARD application and another cost savings, TWI trainer, plan rail inbounds with NS daily, meet production demand expectations with order demand/supply and loading and take an active approach on mobile equipment issues with Engineering
