  • Hired by Bloomfield Township Police Department in 1998 as a Road Patrol Officer.
  • Responsible for providing police services for approximately 26 square miles to 44,000 full time residents. Those services included but not limited to assisting citizens with minor problems, investigating crimes, writing detailed reports and testifying in court proceedings.
  • From 2004 to 2006, I interviewed and was chosen as a Task Force Officer (TFO) to the Oakland County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET).
  • I was deputized under the Oakland County Sheriffs Department and was assigned to handle drug cases, including working with informants, conducting surveillance, writing search warrants, and providing testimony in court proceedings.
  • From 2007 to 2015, I interviewed and was chosen as one of two K-9 Handlers for the Township of Bloomfield. I attended a 5 week K-9 Academy. My K-9 partner and I participated in continuous training and certifications in narcotic detection, tracking, building/area searches and suspect apprehension.
  • We assisted in hundreds cases resulting in arrests and expert testimony.
  • In December of 2020, I once again interviewed and was chosen as a TFO assigned to the Oakland County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Enforcement Team.
  • Investigated cases involving possession, manufacture, and distribution of controlled substances.
  • Provided assistance to other officers during arrests or raids conducted by local police departments or federal agencies.
  • Coordinated efforts with other law enforcement agencies to investigate violations of state laws pertaining to drugs.
  • Monitored known drug traffickers' movements using GPS technology.
  • Performed undercover work and organized operational plans.
  • Explored prescription drug fraud and forgeries leads.
