SCUBA diving, cooking, reading, traveling, languages, history

I enjoy traveling to new places especially those near bodies of water that I can SCUBA dive. I have dived in lots of places ranging from Hawaii and the California Coast to the Great Barrier Reef and the Caribbean. I also love cooking and trying new recipes from all sorts of cuisines. I am an avid reader of both non-fiction and fiction but these days I am mostly a listener of books on Audible. Languages are my passion and I am fluent in several with a working understanding of several more. Having spent many years in Europe has helped me to embrace foreign cultures and their languages. History is what unites us all. If we better understand it, we can appreciate the great contributions of the different peoples from around the world.
