Goals

  • 30 days, Learning and assessments by learning the organization and operational processes associated with new role. Analyze current performance by reviewing cost reports, fuel efficiency, and maintenance schedules. Enhance team communication by continuing to build structure and trust within the departments to continue collaboration as one team. Meet with leadership on a weekly basis for regular check-ins, setting clear expectations, or creating opportunities for informal feedback. Ensure compliance and safety but reviewing current DOT and OSHA compliance records and reinforce safety training for drivers and staff. Ensure to meet and collaborate with all departments and improve global accountability for transportation accountability.


  • 60 days, Improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for cost reduction without sacrificing service quality. Ensure best practices are being used to ensure minimizing downtime. Review and find key performance indicators that can be improved on for cost efficiency and utilization. Strengthen customer relations by reducing delays and increasing reliability. Implement feedback loops with customer for continuous improvements. Continue to meet with leadership on a weekly basis for regular check-ins to allow clear expectations to be set. Collaborate with transportation managers and human resources that all personnel are compliant with all training and personal development.


  • 90-120 days, Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and division General Manager to review standard practice, policies and procedures. Develop long-term strategy with draft of strategic roadmap for the next 6-12 months. Identify and plan for workforce development and potential hiring needs.
