Making sure every store receives special ordered items. Managing cuts and abandons during the selecting process. Slotting new items and ensuring that CHV is accurate.

Assisting Transportation Operations management team in directing the day-to-day activities with planning and execution of our transportation strategy. Efficiently executing our outbound delivery and backhaul pick up plan through the optimal assignment of our transportation orders to our Publix truck drivers in a manner that meets our high service level commitment to our stores. Identifying daily staffing needs and balancing drivers workdays. Ensuring compliance to all federal and state transportation hours of service (HOS) regulations.

Assisting with the day-to-day operation, and analyzing the workload. Determining priorities and staffing capabilities, monitoring performances of associates according to established standards. Communicating to associates our daily objectives, while conducting our safety huddle. Ensuring that everyone that operates equipment fill out equipment check list. Walking the floor to ensure everyone is working safe and efficiently, and providing customer service to our customers.

Providing customer service by receiving products accurately, and rejecting products that don't meet Publix standards due to quality and temperature reasons. Ensuring cases ordered are the cases we were billed for. Working hand and hand with FHI to confirm products are unloaded properly to fit in the proper locations.
