I have my own handyman business in which I serve the bay area, whether its doing simple dry wall repair, light electrical work, light plumbing work, deck refurbishing, painting, etc.

I helped load/ unload and deliver items for a nationwide tour over the road going from California to New York to Chicago and many other states and stops. It was 53' dry van.

I finished my college courses in automotive training during this time.

• Assembled and installed new furniture for client's living room to improve comfort and and functionality.
• Installed lighting fixtures to improve lighting and increase energy efficiency.
• Re-caulked and sealed windows doors and siding to prevent drafts and air leaks and minimize energy costs.
• Performed basic electrical work and plumbing repairs such as installing new toilets, removing electrical wires, unclogging drains, and maintaining gutters.

I continued my education in taking automotive technology courses.

I was a delivery driver for a shoring company where we would deliver and pick up various construction shoring equipment to many construction sites all over the bay area and beyond. I drove a flatbed tractor trailer with a knuckle boom crane on it. It was my responsibility to operate the 60 boom crane in safe and efficient manner to drop/ pick up things like 10,000 pound steel plates and boxes and other various hydraulic shoring equipment. I was tasked with maneuvering my tractor trailer in often very tight and busy areas and dropping/ picking up our shoring equipment with our cranes while avoiding power lines and pedestrians and many other hazards. Also it was my responsibility to make sure that all of my loads were safely and correctly chained and strapped down for the weight that I was hauling.

I took courses in automotive technology during this period.

I delivered various soft drinks to many different locations across the bay area. I was responsible for delivering these drinks in a tractor trailer to many gas stations, convenient stores, target etc. It was my job to maneuver safely in and out of these places in the safest way possible. I learned great customer service skills at this job.

During this period I was on disability due to injuries I sustained in the military.

For my time in the Marine Corps I was a Motor Transportation Driver in which I transported a large variety of items from shipping containers, fuel, water, weapons, troops, and all others types of cargo to and from various places from very rough terrain areas to highways etc.
