Jason Lingle

In my current role I focus on providing compassionate and person-focused care to support resident well-being and independence. I assist residents with their daily living needs, administer medications, and prepare nutritious meals. I provide transportation and assistance within the community and to medical appointments. I complete documentation as required and act as an advocate for the people supported.

During the past few years I had successfully managed a team of three to six employees, increased profits, and improved food safety. Responsibilities for my role included, but were not limited to scheduling, inventory, food safety, and cost management. Training and development of employees was also a key part of my position and along with providing consistent and relevant feedback, I prided myself on creating a positive atmosphere in which my team could grow and develop in their own careers.

Throughout my time at Walmart I explored a variety of roles in both the bakery and deli department, including becoming fully trained as a cake decorator. My primary role was that of a deli associate in which I prepared customer orders with a heavy emphasis on customer service and relations. As well as completing any tasks required throughout the shift, I was also in charge of closing down the department at the end of the day.

At the beginning of my professional career I started as an overnight associate putting away truck deliveries and preparing the store for the coming day. I quickly took on more responsibilities and was promoted to the supervisor role within my first six months. As a supervisor my primary role was to ensure the smooth operation of the store while it was under my care, as well as coordination of responsibilities with the other shifts to maintain excellent standards.
