As a DTC business, they were interested in starting up a retail program. My job was to formulate program details and developing the process of reaching out to select retailers.
My daily tasks involved researching prospective dealers, reaching out via email, phone, video conferencing, working directly with the owner to set up introductory appointments, work with marketing on POP solutions, creating documents related to sales, keeping an accurate log of everyone I contacted, and following up regularly.
Once a dealer was opened, my job was to make sure their orders were entered precisely and accurately, field any questions or concerns they might have, being an expert on the product and training staff, and being the face of the company to these retailers.
