- Create RFIs, change orders, coordinate with modeling and detailing teams overseas, and check all drawings for accuracy
- Review architectural and structural contract drawings and combine the two to develop steel erection plans and sections which describe the building design intent.
- Plans and sections are developed in Auto Cad (2D) & Tekla Structures
- The 3D model is developed in Tekla Structures
- When Revit models are available I export overlays and pull dimensions when not shown on PDF drawings.
- Conduct Zoom / Teams meetings with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to work out any issues with the project
- If needed drive to the jobsite and field measure existing conditions for accurate development of drawings.
