  • Helped develop and implement the TOM team program (Transportation Operations Management) as a support function to the Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers and Return Centers. Trained over 200 Amazon Transportation associates ensuring the successful completion of the hostler duties and functions. Ensuring safety is followed at all times, Performance evaluations in YSO (Yard Safety Observations), monitoring yard Hostler defects. Continuously monitoring Smart Drive working with the L5 and L6 to drive down safety scores and improve driver safety.
  • Key Achievement:
  • Overseeing two different node in four different regions all while maintaining my main node.
  • Hostler subject matter expert and part of the hostler SWAT.
  • Improved all functions of late departs from 6.7% to averaging 3.96% week over week.
  • Built TOM team from ground at LAS2 from having no CDL drivers to being the one of the first sites in the network to be 100% CDL trained.
  • Conducted 23 CMVOT cohorts and having 128 TA’s trained in the Las node.
  • Launched Las1 and worked directly with the L4, L5 and L6 to obtain the TOM roster so that I could train PDT’s as the site had no PDT transferring and only 6 trained hostler drivers, 9 Trained PDT’s by launch date.
  • 2019 I had 17 Hostler PDT’s trained in the Las node, as of this day January 8th of 2021 I had 50 trained Hostler PDT’s meaning I have trained 33 more in the year of 2020, with 27 of being trained during the pandemic with all new training guidelines.
  • I created a TSS and TSS AM onboarding plan working with L6 PM and L6 Ops. That onboarding plan is used today.
  • I held office hours with ATS Sr. management for the rollout of the relay app. Relay for drives is an applications used by 7000+ TA’s across North America.
  • Virtual Training team. I facilitated DrIVE training to 1,400 Transportation Associates that have their CDL. The largest class being 450+Transportation Associates at one time. Create training content for the virtual team that was seen by 5000+ TA’s.

  • Operations manager at the Hanford Lowe’s. Coordinate and supervise 86 associates, drivers/shipping and receiving clerks’ personnel in processing shipments, customer deliveries, managing inventory, and delivering goods for six national accounts. Monitor budget and KPIs ensuring goal attainment. Perform HR functions, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations. Oversee a Maintain facilities and equipment. Ensure operational compliance with OSHA/DOT regulations.
  • Key Achievement:
  • Improve profitability by effectively implementing delivery routes to save on fuel consumption.
  • Built an ordering system to have customer appliances shipped separately from the rest of the merchandise to cut down on shrink cost.
  • Managed shrink for the store, previous year reported $3.7M loss I was able to lower that to $1.8M.
  • Set up fuel accounts for the local TA and Pilot so that the company can receive 3% cash back on fuel purchases for the year.
  • Manage operations and logistics for efficiency and effectiveness, achieving 99.8% on-time delivery, year over year.
