Application Instructions

The Electricians' Examining Board will issue a license to any person who is licensed by another state or territory of the United States that has a reciprocity agreement with the State of Maine and who has been licensed and actively engaged in work as an electrician. You must submit proof that you have a current license, issued by examination, from the State licensing board in which you are licensed and actively engaged in work as an electrician for a minimum of 8,000 hours.
