  • Started as General Labor but passed welding test and now am currently in a Welding/ Weld-line maintenance position on the paint line
  • Was trained to install, maintain ans repair conveyor systems by diagnosing electrical problems, checking the schematics and manage the crews for either repairing or installation of conveyor systems including handling the roll, stringing and tensioning the belt, and training the belt and pulleys. Working with the idlers and snubs. We also had the hanging hook conveyors which ran painted parts through the dryer.
  • After the flooring passes through the automated welding system, I inspect and repair any bad welds or missing welds
  • Then proceed to hang flooring and ready it for paint and shipping.

Additional Information

  • After being medically retired, I was still having necessary surgeries to repair my right foot and calf.
  • It took several years of intense physical therapy to be able to walk without any assistance.
  • Also during this time period I was attending Austin Peay State University for an associates degree in graphic design.
