I have extensive experience working with diverse populations to optimize representation, assisting counsel in preparing answers and providing documentation and information for discovery requests. I help attorneys prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and coordinating witness testimonies at hearings. Additionally, I managed the scheduling of court calendars and deadlines to maintain the smooth flow of firm operations. Expertly conduct legal and medical research, collect witness statements, and organize files, ensuring comprehensive and accurate case preparation. Summarized depositions, legal documents, and other materials to provide attorneys with relevant case information. My role additionally, involved analyzing evidence gathering and presentation, client counseling, and jury selection methods for civil litigation. I communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to keep all parties informed on case updates, and I prepare legal briefs, motions, and pleadings.
Conducting detailed client intakes and entering information into the company database are among my key responsibilities. Recruited to be a dedicated trauma nurse in West Valley's new Level 1 Trauma Center. In the short time I was at West Valley, I maintained my primary role as the trauma RN but also transitioned into the Emergency Department. Additionally, since my employment at West Valley Hospital, I have authored several documents that have been implemented at West Valley as well as other Tenet facilities, while at the same time being awarded the Patient Safety Award.
As a field educator, I instructed nurses, physicians, and EMS personnel about the merits of the EZ-IO® interosseous vascular access device and instruct them on its proper use. As a face for the company, I established professional relationships with the EMS community and customers.
Critical Care, Trauma, and Emergency Nurse responsibiilities in a Level 1 trauma and burn center. Received my ATCN certification while at MIHS (449-bed) I have also been a part of the Annual Emergency Conference Planning Committee, Hourly Rounding Task Force, and H.E.R.T (Hazmat Emergency Response Team) and took part in a state-wide disaster drill. I have completed an evidence-based practice policy for SIRS/Sepsis Resuscitation, in addition to Emergency Throughput Redesign. Relief Clinical Resource Leader for the night shift in the Emergency Department and orient new staff members. I also teach ACLS, BLS, and PALS for the MIHS Center of Clinical Excellence.
