Perform services in compliance with funder guidelines including, COJ- Division of Grants and Contract Compliance Staff and The US Dep’t of Justice.

• Provide urgent support & resources to participants and their families in high-crisis, fast-paced situations, connecting them with immediate assistance for emergent needs

Company Overview: Serviced Cure Violence Global performs services in compliance with all agency and funder guidelines, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).

• Collaborated with banks, financial institutions, local mortgage brokers and real estate agents to offer financial education programs, workshops and services.
• Provided financial counseling services to (trauma-induced) Cure Violence participants to include: budget preparation and review, explanation of credit report and scores, debt review and management, pre-purchase housing counsel and foreclosure prevention.
• Developed and delivered program services and financial education curriculum (e.g. home-buying seminars, briefs and presentations) to support families and participants.
• Managed a financial case load, providing detailed case notes, interaction entries and other documentation for financial education and assistance purposes.
• Conducted on-going continued education, support, and goal setting to encourage participant’s accountability.
• Assist with evaluation of ongoing services to ensure program is meeting participant’s needs.

• Coached team of four to counsel underserved/uneducated communities (32206, 32208, 32209) on the importance of financial wellness through consultations on home-buying, debt reduction, credit repair and budget planning

• Partnered with Branch Manager and credit union executives to identify key market segments in the community to successfully grow the branch’s business.
• One-on-one financial counsel for members: new memberships, account servicing requests, VyStar’s Money Makeover program, vehicle finance and refinance, new home finance and refinance- Consumer Loan and Mortgage Loan Officer (Active NMLS 2016), investment, insurance and small business referrals.
• Reviewed members’ declined loan applications to help them better understand their current credit status, how to improve it and become approved for financing.
• Partnered with First Coast High School to teach students financial education, money management, credit, and how to open or work at the on-campus VyStar branch.

• Generated new business membership through group presentations of credit union products and services to various military branches (Navy and Army recruitment offices).
• One-on-one financial counsel for members: account servicing requests, vehicle finance and refinance, new home purchase, and home refinance.
• Created and presented employee training material for new Service Representatives to increase the effort of my peers and the success of our branch’s loan product and new membership goals.
