Project Lead for "KPI tree project" that consisted in designing a Financial Model to create a link between Financial results and Operation performance for an Operation of 2.3B EUR. Starting from main KPIs breaking them down into sub-KPIs while providing a comprehensive analysis that pointed out areas where operations efficiency could be further improved and resources could be maximized. Project resulted in 38M EUR cost savings.
The project involved cross-functional collaboration between Finance, Industrial Engineering, Commercial and Operations.
The project was rolled out to over 50countries in DHL Express Europe and was used for monthly country reviews, target setting and budget preparation activities.
Developed financial models in collaboration with the Engineering Department to create operational targets and KPI;s for over 50 countries in Europe to absorb over 5% YoY volumes growth through Productivity Improvement keeping same resources level; this initiative resulted in cost savings of over 38 million EUR.
