I am drawn to the opportunity at Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy because of its commitment to developing the whole student through academic excellence, strong character, and meaningful relationships. With a background in athletics, coaching, and education, I am passionate about supporting students as they build confidence, accountability, and independence—skills that are especially important at the high school level.
In my role as a teacher and JV basketball coach at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School, I have worked with students in grades K–8, supporting classroom instruction, assisting with grading, leading structured activities, and maintaining an organized learning environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage diverse classrooms, adapt quickly, and build positive relationships with students—key qualities for an effective substitute teacher.
I have also organized and led basketball camps, helping students develop discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Additionally, my experience as a basketball training assistant working with NBA players exposed me to high-level preparation, focus, and professionalism. I bring those same expectations and energy into the classroom, encouraging students to stay engaged and take ownership of their learning.
I am eager to contribute to a positive and structured learning environment at the high school level and make a meaningful impact on students both inside and outside the classroom. Thank you for your time and consideration.
