9/30/12 - Article in Imperial Valley Press recognizing me with 4 other county employees for our work during the various disasters that happened in Brawley within the last year. The article can be provided upon request.
6/27/19 - A certificate and plaque were provided to me by Customs and Border Protection for the assistance that I organized and community partners provided to assist Federal Employees with various services designed to assist them and their families during the Federal Shutdown at the beginning of 2019.
I have also assisted in organizing a number of large hiring events for employers in the county and one vary large event for the Gran Plaza Outlets in Calexico. We served approximately served 7000 applicants that day and worked with the City of Calexico, Calexico Unified School District, and Local bus agencies.
I was able to assist in the coordination of the homeless high COVID risk hotel and homeless COVID positive trailers. I was in charge of the staff that provided services to the people at the hotel and the trailers. I was one of the two people who provided transportation to COVID positive individuals and provide intake services to those individuals before entering the trailers.
I was able to work with the Director in providing services to the migrants that were being released by Immigration and needed to find transportation to their sponsors in various locations within the country.
