1. Operating the Cash Register: Scan and process items quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
2. Handling Payments: Accept and process payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, coupons, and gift cards. Ensure accurate counting and handling of cash.
3. Ensuring Accuracy: Double-check prices, apply discounts, and verify coupons to ensure customers are charged correctly.
1. Processing Transactions: Complete sales transactions at the register, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
2. Handling Returns & Exchanges: Manage customer returns and exchanges, ensuring policies are followed and customers are satisfied with their resolution.
3. Promoting Services: Introduce customers to Best Buy’s service options, such as Geek Squad, protection plans, and financing options.
4. Supporting Sales Team: Collaborate with sales associates by helping with overflow customer traffic and answering any customer questions when the sales floor is busy.
5. Using POS Systems: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments, returns, and exchanges accurately.
