I am currently responsible for overseeing contractors who install secondary electrical services for new construction homes. I manage the installation process and address any issues that arise between contractors and builders to ensure that daily operations are completed on time. My duties include checking out materials, processing invoices, and sending weekly updates on the services that are ready for installation. Additionally, I oversee any service relocations or upgrades for the residents of Denton. I am also in charge of all final post-construction inspections conducted by our in-house teams and contractors. Throughout the inspection process, I use Maximo, a workflow software program, to ensure that all inspections, rework, and corrections are completed and finalized before submitting the results to our GIS group. As an hourly employee, I occasionally take calls or cover for colleagues, and I also participate in special events, volunteer as a judge at the Texas Lineman Rodeo competitions, and help out with any other duties as assigned.

I worked on power lines in both construction and maintenance. My responsibilities included stocking materials on trucks and taking calls every five weeks to troubleshooting and doing mainternance repairs. I also helped train new apprentices, guiding them through the apprenticeship program.
