• Provide care to critically ill patient's in the ICU setting

• Assess patient needs for PICC insertion: Critically ill, difficult IV access, long term IV infusions, etc.
• Educated Patients and Families's on proper PICC line care and maintenance
• Insert PICC/Midlines lines using strict aseptic technique bedside
• Become a resource to my other hospital peers with vascular access concerns

Traveled throughout the entire Los Angels County area and placed PICC lines, Midlines, peripheral IVs, accessed implanted ports, perform lab draws, or troubleshot non functioning vascular access catheters. Performed theses tasks at people's private residences, acute care hospitals, assisted living centers, or skilled nursing facilities.

• Helped postoperative patients recover from surgeries Including: Back and neck fusions, hip and knee replacements, gallbladder removals etc..
• Administered medications, treatments, and therapies to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards of care
• Assessed patient's pain and developed strategies for pain management
