As a R.N Case Manager, I manage a group of patients, providing patients and families with education on medications and disease processes. I provide wound care and I.V treatments. I collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical social workers. I supervise L.P.N's and C.N.A's. I also precept new hires.

As a R.N Case Manager, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to provide care to a group of patients. I educated patients of medications, disease processes, and positive lifestyle changes. I provided wound care and I.V therapy.

In this position, I worked as the evening start of care nurse/evening on call nurse. I provided care to patients from 2pm-8am. I did start of cares, wound care, labs, I.V care, and patient education.

I started as a Graduate Nurse on a Med/Surg floor. I then was asked to train on a pilot Gerontology unit as a rotating charge nurse. I then transferred to Orthopedic PCU, where I my most frequent role was preceptor. I also worked as a resource nurse, charge nurse, and staff nurse.
