- Completed a 12-week internship at the Spokane site for Plug Power (hydrogen fuel cells) on the air-cooled stacks (ACS) team
- Conducted and analyzed several ASTs primarily focused on improving stack life by better understanding catalyst degradation mechanisms (experience was primarily R&D)
- Collaborated with a team of 10 engineers on the ACS team, including one other chemical engineering intern
- Presented the most substantial research findings from the internship to all 70+ of the other Plug interns across the globe (as well as some HR reps and team managers) at the end of the summer
