- With this occupation, I learned how to operate various units of machinery to move the earth, contributing to developing infrastructure both commercially & residentially. Since this is an extreme at risk occupation, everyone was aware of their surroundings 110% of the time. Here are some equipment I have extensive knowledge operating - Civil Aggregates / Crushing - Drilling, Blasting, Mining, Managing. Throughout the year Moyna & Sons aggregate division would work hand & hand with dirt moving operations, which resulted in building roads. Roads involve aggregates. Not only did we produce aggregates for roads, we mined gypsum for GP's drywall as well as for Shell, mining fracking sand. Working in the mine involved a lot of wear on the body w/ numerous hours of seat time. MSHA knowledge has changed my safety outlook on life.
- KPI JCI Track 4250 Impact Crusher & 2650 Jaw - With this crusher, you have to pay attention to every detail, because one operation is dependent on another. This was a huge responsibility on a day to day basis. We would typically take our demolished concrete product, process it, & crush the rock to make a solid base for creating new roads. These crushers would move behind grading operations in a satisfying sequential order. Our crew would be in charge of controlling and completing all maintenance. Limestone & Sandstone/ Rip-Rap Mine Plant - We had various crushing operations both underground, & surface. Super stackers, numerous generators, and work for days! The mining operation was 24/7 except for holidays. We crushed using stationary jaw & cone crushers.
