Manager overseeing multiple main replacement and cleaning and lining projects at one time. Managing Providence Water staff and resources. Everyday duties include coordinating and scheduling of PW's prequalified Contractors, PW resources including Transmission and Distribution Department (handling all valve and hydrant operations) Oversight of multiple projects which involves coordination throughout the course of the day. Production of all as built drawing. Responsible for notifications of shutdowns to all local Fire, Police Departments as well as Customers that may be affected for any particular amount of time. assure that Contractors are following all PW construction standards and practices accordance with PW specification. Oversight of all pressure testing standards and chlorination, dechlorination and sampling of all mains. Reconnection of all water services to any main that has been replaced or cleaned and lined. Review of all video inspection for cleaned and lined mains insuring quality of lining with a trained eye. production of daily reports, photos and quantities. Review of monthly pay requisitions submitted by Contractors on given projects. Updating all PW's Directors and Managers daily on field activities.

  • Resident Engineer for the construction of 36,000 linear feet of low pressure sewer and 9,000 linear feet of low pressure sewer connections on public and private property and installation of 450 low pressure pumping systems on private property. Project characteristics consisted of the elimination of failing septic systems, a compressed project schedule during design and construction, design within watershed area, environmental protection, various underground utilities, highway crossing and funding under the Mass DEP's State revolving loan program, as well as compliance with numerous state and local permits, including Conservation commission, Mass Highway Department and Mass DEP sewer extension permit.
