Designed services for the lifecycle management of Oracle Fusion Applications on Oracle Cloud. Oracle Fusion applications leverage these services to provision new customer environments and manage their subsequent lifecycle. Played a leading role in the organization's move towards AI and ML integration, self-service, continuous delivery, and DevOps, as well as handling complex application upgrade and patching capabilities. Most recent projects include:

• Enabling Vector Search capabilities on the Oracle 23ai database for Fusion applications. Designed the ability to load the desired embeddings models. Application teams can define and manage the data model, enabling AI powered search for end users.
• Metadata-driven data model management for Fusion service teams across multiple application versions. This feature resulted in significant improvements for service teams and enabled an efficient CI/CD.
• Extended the Fusion platform for seamless development, deployment, and life cycle management of Oracle Apex applications. This feature enables developers to create an intuitive user interface using multiple front-end
• technologies.

Designed and successfully rolled out Apache Spark-based data management
and data science service with secure access to both cloud and on-premise
data sources. Lead the definition of a JSON-based data shaping language for
use in data refinery and machine learning. This was the foundation for the IBM
DataWorks catalog on Bluemix and the subsequent data scientist platform.
Led the evolution of IBM Optim information life cycle management and data
governance portfolio of products/solutions, including a revamped design time
and a web-based management environment to complement a highly scalable
run time. Integrated the product with IBM Big Data solution and extended
support for Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, and Siebel),
SAP, and custom applications

My role involved designing highly usable user interfaces, writing specifications,
implementing core frameworks, and ensuring coordination between
components to achieve an integrated customer experience. I employed
customer scenario-driven design and supported agile implementation
processes with hands-on involvement in as many areas as feasible. As
a thought leader within the organization, I interacted with customers and
served as an effective liaison to the product management team. On the
development side, I was involved in everything from DevOps to overseeing
product implementation.

Led the design and implementation of an industry-leading enterprise data
privacy solution for PCI compliance. This included masking RDBMS data
as well as XML. Leveraged the JBOSS application server and BPEL for
implementing data management services and everyday customer workflow
around these services. The technologies used included Eclipse/EMF/OSGI,
SDO, Hibernate/OpenJPA, Apache Axis, UDDI, Maven, etc.

Member of the Adaptive Enterprise Management architecture team in the HP Openview portfolio of products. I was responsible for conceptualizing and designing the logical architecture, as well as its subsequent rollout to various product organizations. As a liaison for products focused on desired state IT automation and service provisioning, I contributed to the definition of an integrated solution.

As a Chief Architect in HP's middleware division and web services management organizations, I architected HP's Web Services platform and the Web Services management engine. I actively participated in Java standardization activities as a member of early versions of JDBC and JAXB standards bodies.

Responsible for the data integration tier of four generations of products that
came out of the Bluestone Lab: db-UIMX, Sapphire/Web Unix, Sapphire/Web - Windows, and the Bluestone Total-e Server product line. As a member of the team that created one of the industry's first application servers, I was responsible for integrating various RDBMS products via native interfaces initially and then standardizing ODBC/JDBC interfaces.

With the advent of XML, I was involved in creating the industry's first XML server and Visual XML tool for building B2B applications. Also implemented a content syndication server based on the Internet Content Exchange (ICE) protocol.
