Summary

As an attending anesthesiologist for Parkway Anesthesia and MedStar Medical Group Anesthesia, I have administered several different types of anesthetics for a variety of surgical services. I am proficient in ultrasound guided peripheral nerve blocks (single shot and catheter placement). Furthermore, surgical services rely heavily on our group for perioperative input/suggestions to optimize their patients for a safe, smooth perioperative course. We are the first line of service for all inpatient lumbar punctures. We aid our acute pain NPs in managing patients on the newly instituted acute pain service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we oversaw and staffed the in-house airway team for two hospitals - Union Memorial Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.
