- I usually spend my summers working through the SYEP program/ summer youth employment program.
- I find this to be an excellent fun and exciting experience because this helps me to gain a deeper understanding of money from a more hands-on perspective like learning how much work determines how much you make and how to properly budget it.
- It also helped me see and understand taxes even more because on my check I can see they were being taken out.
- This also helps me build connections with people and helps me gain an understanding of what a work-life is like shifts getting to work, problem solving, and helping people with their issues.
