At discount tire i was a service tech, crew chief, and service coordinator. As a service tech all i did was work on the wheel and tires themselves. As i moved up to a crew chief i started pulling in vehicles and guiding the service techs. When i moved up to a service coordinator i became the "boss of the garage", i would guide the crew chiefs and service techs, and bring the car back to the customer to explain what we worked on.
As a barista at starbucks i took orders as a cashier, and made drinks.
The Rails was a steak house i worked at for 2 years. I started off as a food runner, i would take food from the kitchen and help the waiter serve the food. I then was a host for a month or two, just showing people to their tables. I was then moved up to being a busser. I was busser for a good year, i would help take drink orders, serve food, and clean tables. I was then moved up to servers assistant for a couple months where i did everything a server would do but serve alcohol.
Since i was so young at the time i wasn't "allowed" to touch a knife so i couldn't make sandwiches. So i was the cashier, i took orders, bagged food, and cashed people out.
