Being a assistant manager I have big responsibilities and duties like opening/closig the store making sure I do all of the paperwork that needs to be done for the day. Running payroll, markdowns, inventory counts, cashiering/handling returns,processing/checking in shipment, making deposits and etc.
Before I became a manager my position was sales associate/stock which my duties was to clean the sales floor, interacting with the customers making sure they finding everything, I even help them put their outfits together and be satisfied. Then I got promoted to be a head cashier just on my third day working so I was dealing with handling the money then being on the sales floor I was excited for this to be my first retail job and they put me on the register. I have good work ethic, great communication, leadership, organization. Now that I am a manager I have big responsibilities and duties, opening/closing the store making sure I do all of the paperwork that needs to be done for the day. Processing the shipment that's coming in, counting the money making sure everything is good to start the day, going to the bank everyday to deposit the money. I help screen interviews as well making sure we hire hard work dedicated people in our establishment Everyday I make sure I am on time and go do my task right away, and making sure my employees are doing their job as well
