I grew up loving to cook for people and have always had a passion for making food that excites your tastes buds while also feeding your eyes. Im big on helping one another and always will provide assistance when I can if needed.

While working at Square One, i had to present correct knife skills when preparing stations or sauces, keep a clean station at all times, decorate plates to look presentable as like a treat to the human eye. I also had to correctly temp food, and prep stations before my rush. I had to remain focused and on task at all times with little to no time to slack. I also worked cold side which contained sandwiches, salads, and oysters. I worked fry side which contained our fried foods and burgers and tacos, and I worked expo side which was responsible for making sure plates are cleaned and dress appropriately, the orders have their correct sauces and sides, and helping with salads and where orders go. Lastly, I worked saute side which handled the pastas, steaks, veggies, and so on. Saute was the most enjoyable because you built everything from scratch, such as sauces, seasoning and such.

During my time in Zaxby's I handled wings and toast station, breading and frying chicken station, in house orders, and drive thru orders. During dinner rushes i had a 30-50 second time frame to get orders out the window correctly, while also communicating with my coworkers if we needed to hold or if food was getting short. Eventually I became a shift lead and was responsible for assigning where people go on what station, making sure all stations were stocked, making sure front of house is set to go, and making sure all cleaning duties are done before allowing people to leave at night.

During my shifts on the weekdays I handle the fryer station, tasked with making wings, fries, fried chicken, ect. I was made sure to keep my station clean, food fresh, and bottles and topping refilled, and closing correctly and neatly. With my shifts on the weekends I was responsible for handling flattop, or the grill. During the morning shifts i worked on the weekends i prepped food, set up my station and help any other coworkers that are behind, and helping expo station.

During my time in Papa Johns I was responsible for decorating pizzas correctly to their order, Cutting and boxing pizza's to their order, helping customers with any issues or concerns and placing their orders. I also trained and helped new hires, counted produce for truck, close and open the restaurant, and help any of my coworkers.
