I'm currently a senior at McKendree University obtaining my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I'm completing my student teaching at Roxana Central Intermediate School.
Preparing and giving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Providing engaging and enriching daily activities. Changing diapers and administering naps/medication. I have experience ranging from ages 2-15.
Throughout higher education, I have observed and taught in 4 classrooms, totaling 180 hours. During this time, I have formed lifelong connections with my cooperating teachers. I’ve been in a variety of classrooms: Midway Elementary (2nd grade) in Edwardsville School District, Marine Elementary (1st grade) in Triad School District, Whiteside Elementary (3rd grade) in Whiteside School District, and Highland Elementary (5th grade) in Highland School District.
Creating and following lesson plans. Administering food, naps, and diaper changes/potty training. I worked as a floater in the infant, toddler, two-year-old, and pre-k rooms.
During my high school softball career, I volunteered as a coach for the Edwardsville Middle School teams. I assisted in planning team bonding activities, coaching practices, coaching games, leading team and parent meetings, and planning team celebrations.
