My daily duties included coordinating between the News and Production departments, making sure we could accommodate the vision for the newscasts. During the newscasts I was responsible for calling out on headset commands, setting up and taking effects on the directing switcher, cue up and play our video clips and graphics. I would also have to adjust to changes in real time and communicate them to everyone on headset. Working with both departments on specialty shows such as "Sports Blitz" and "Total Maine", political debates and election newscasts as well as weather cutins and continuous breaking news coverage.
