Project

CS 224M (In Collaboration With Jay Yu, Laura Wu)
  • Link to Project: https://medium.com/@jyu01.stanford/re-mix-and-match-829b187139b0
  • Music artist collaboration recommender model using GAT
  • My role: designed and Implemented special node-to-embedding pre-processing algorithm for given dataset, hyperparameter tuning on GAT

Project

CS 231N
  • Link to paper: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qX2Oqf6xM6CakbOn96x1SDwq9w5E0TLZ/view?usp=sharing
  • Designed novel multi-task image classifier for identifying artist, style, and genre
  • Architectures experimented: ResNet50 (best), ViT
  • Aggregation functions: naive sum, weighted sum, PCGrad (best), Step-wise Task Affinity Computation (verifies multitasking model is ideal on given dataset)

Project

CS 229 (In Collaboration With Jack Jin Hung)
  • Link to paper: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vwVy-qhFFDxXAJ6A04TrQ09ZwMghqhXn/view?usp=sharing
  • My work focused on exploring various (traditional vs. neural) approaches in prediction on one single stock
  • Traditional Model: ARIMA-GARCH
  • Neural Approaches: 1D CNN, LSTM, multivariate LSTM, multivariate CNN-LSTM

Intern

P2P Microfinance Program
11.2021 - 01.2022
  • Lead Groups of high school students to investigate real-life cases from small-amount loan borrowers in Pazike, a remote village for Tujia Clan in Hunan Province, China
  • Evaluate and analyze small-amount loan borrowers' petitions, and decide their loan renewal requests
  • Help establish sustainability for their local businesses by developing financial statements, and making business plan recommendations
  • Example Cases: Raising chickens on berry tea field, Raising pigs, Road construction for villagers

Intern

Gener Soft
05.2022 - 09.2022
  • Working alongside Dr. Xiangli Ma in developing algorithm platform for processing industrial big data
  • ML-related model development applied to high-speed railway vehicles & aircrafts' status prediction from sensor data
  • R to Python data pre-processor transferral (implementing auto-optimizations from R packages to Python, which are often lacked in their Python counterparts)

Startup Co-Founder

ShakeShake (now ShakeLink)
01.2023 - 08.2023
  • Co-founder and COO for ShakeShake (now ShakeLink), a mobile app that serves as shareable digital profile card aimed for students
  • Received $100k pre-seed personal investment from Ant Group investor
  • App serves as NFC stickers without the need to purchase stickers
  • Two people who wish to exchange various social media contacts (phone number, FaceBook, Ins, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) just shake their phones together in vicinity, and their information will be exchanged
