I am a hardworking professional experienced in field and ready for challenging assignments. I look to solve problems quickly and cleanly while being reliable in completing quality work and exceeding expectations. Harnessing the desire to enter the food and beverage industry as both a server and entertainer, I look to experience the rewards of bringing smiles to other faces. In both serving and playing piano, I can make a team whole and a business brighter.
I am the Assistant Swim Coach of Summerville High School, with my duties ranging from running practices, working on stroke and drill work, and 1-on-1 work. I take great pride in seeing the athletes' hard work and training pay off in big moments.
My photography skills encompass taking photos of Graduation shoots, Portraits, Weddings, Animals, Nature, and Engagements. I have been doing photography for over 3 years now, and can do basic editing while maintaining serious attention to detail.
I have been pet and house sitting for over five years. Certain expectations are higher than others, but always met with precise execution.
I have been playing piano since I was 7 years old, and it is the joy of my life. There is nothing like sitting down at a piano you have never played before and lighting up the room with a soft melody everyone recognizes.
I am classically trained, but I am self-taught in chords and traditional jazz, while also self-taught in singing. I taught private lessons in homes or studios, teaching proper technique and theory.
Some of my favorite piano moments have come in church bands, as well as a band at Furman University, for my first year of college. In those respective places, I would lead or accompany worship services by playing the piano and singing.
I was a junior and assistant coach at Newington Tiger Sharks swim club after growing up swimming for the team. I worked specifically with the younger age groups, starting at 4 years old to 10.
My duties entailed stroke work, dives, breathing work, life-saving skills, timing, helping run meets, and much more.
I worked for a property insurance managing company as an online tech assistant who helped file and organize the agents' workloads as they worked through approving cases for clientele.
As a lifeguard, I was in a position of leadership as I guarded up to 50 people solo. At the same time, I instructed swim lessons with children as young as 18 months and up. During my time, I saved two children, ages 4 and 11, from drowning while on duty at this pool. I also have extensive experience opening and closing facilities from this job.
My experience led to being responsible for cleaning up and treating bathroom accidents and vomit from the pool, and worked around chemicals in the chemical room. I reported any unsafe conditions or suspicious activity to management immediately, while maintaining constant surveillance of patrons in the swimming area at all times.
