  • Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing all operations and production as the sole manager on my shift, leading a team of over 120 non-exempt employees, peaking at near 200 for a time, and 4 exempt Supervisors across all areas and departments within the distribution center.
  • Key member in an SC HAW enterprise work-stream group; refined/modified existing award and implemented improvements driving cultural transformation for better colleague engagement and morale; piloted program and submitted through team for enterprise adaptation. Team’s work was recognized by several leaders to include SC SVP.
  • Lead 2nd Shift engagement efforts through focus groups and implemented ideas based on colleague driven solutions to challenges colleagues faced leading to a greatly improved score from 66 to 73 (engagement index) and a 79% response rate.
  • Have extensive experience bidding, interviewing, hiring, and training new leads and supervisors, preparing them to for their next assignment within DC.

  • In first month employed here, I developed idea to scan virtually generated barcodes to reprint tickets versus punching into RF unit – increasing ease and reducing time to reprint tickets (multiple reprints everyday) leading to more efficient process that is now used by leads and supervisors across both shifts as a regular daily function.
  • Balance workloads by taking readings throughout the day to produce appropriate volume by projected times. Hold daily and weekly meetings.
  • Monitor KPI/metrics, throughput, and utilization as well as work performance of each department, supervisor, and employee to ensure quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded utilizing various management concepts such as lean management.

Managed exempt salaried operations and program managers and a senior logistics manager, as well as contractors and military senior NCOs and officers as well.
  • Serve as Organizational Inspection Program coordinator ensuring inspections are conducted and completed with emphasis on adding value through feedback on performance that is instructive in nature on policy/procedures. Programs I managed and inspected includes all logistics, inventory, purchasing and support services for major programs and projects.

Developed and successfully lead initiative from begin to end state (birth to death/research to disposition), to purchase multiple MRZR vehicles through DLA, establish lifecycle support program. Developed and lead initiative for large SRM construction project to support growing mission and footprint of organization. Assisting with initiative for out of cycle (early) purchase of new JLTV (replacement for HMMWV/Humvee) for training by determining and developing support plans.

  • Program Manager: Implementing and Managing the; Government Fuel Card Program, Government Purchase Card program, Lodging and Subsistence (in-kind) programs, Enterprise Business System Purchase Request program, various related Budget programs and associated Command policy. Auxiliary support for maintenance programs. Support new complex equipment fielding (NBCRV - Stryker), program management, and assisting with Army wide conflict resolution.
  • Purchaser: Government Purchase Cardholder supporting lodging, subsistence, inventory management, supply and equipment requirements for 76th ORC and subordinate units/elements. Process MIPRs, WBS, and Direct Charges (In addition to program management perspective). Served as Contracting Officer Representative (and support contract administration). Additionally responsible for two brigades and additional ARE units' requirements as sole cardholder during a realignment completing 100+ unique purchase requests monthly for units and teams across the US and Europe.
  • The 76th Operational Response Command is USAR center for Defense Support of Civil Authorities, coordinating support to state officials, first responders and other federal agencies during emergencies or natural disasters.

  • 1188th is a Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC) aligned unit performing terminal, rail, movement control, and deployment support for end to end distribution missions as well as overseeing readiness and technical training for assigned units.
  • Managed logistics, purchasing, and inventory for HQ organization and geographically separated subordinate units - managing supply, services, and maintenance duties as well as Government Purchase Card duties - supporting multiple unit's Training events to include the acquisition of equipment, supplies, meals, transportation, and lodging. Receiving, providing analysis of, and presenting consolidated reports with discrepancies resolved. Incorporating, implementing, and/or managing all battalion and unit level logistics, purchasing/acquisition, and supply and service programs to include conducting, delegating/supervising, and/or consolidating several organization recurring reports/actions across many supply and service programs.
  • Additional duties included: Building training schedules and updating personnel training records in Digital Training Management System (DTMS) as a DTMS Master Trainer, serving as Headquarters and subordinate units' Primary Armorer, and as Physical Security manager and representative. Primary adviser to the Battalion Commander and Battalion Command Sergeant Major on all things Logistics/Supply/Maintenance (S4) and principal representative for 1188th DDSB S4 at all internal and external meetings.
  • Support operations at Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (TRANSMARINER), one of the largest military terminals in the world, during functional training exercise (completing real world tasks while being trained and evaluated for proficiency) where unit performed real world tasks such as performing various supervisory and support tasks or processes at a transfer point between rail, trucks, and ships for the import and export of weapons, ammunition, explosives and military equipment.
