  • I collaborated with the Safety Department to develop, with a vendor, the Fit for Duty Program for New Hires, Workers' Compensation, and Short-Term Disability cases returning from injury or illness
  • I establish a comprehensive program for the Department of Transportation (DOT) drivers, which involved strategic collaboration with a National Medical Provider to review all DOT exams completed to ensure drivers adhered to the FMCSA Mandates and Guidelines for proper and safe clearance
  • I was responsible for reviewing medical records for diabetic bloodwork, stress tests for cardiac health, and medications lists that could possibly limit one's ability to drive DOT vehicles
  • I also maintained and reviewed CPAP compliance reports
  • Educated employees on Federal Motor carried Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines regarding CPAP usage
  • Responsible for reporting all issues to the Safety Department and Managers that could negatively affect driver's Safety, which was the companies number one priority, for the driver and those they share the roads with
  • I was responsible for overseeing the vendors for our Nurse Case Management Program, which consisted of Telephonic and Field Nurses
  • All employees with work injuries made phone calls to our 24/7 Nurse Line vendor, which reduced the number of lost workday cases by 80%
  • I coordinated, along with my direct report, yearly Health Fairs for Corporate Office employees, which included vendor participation, annual flu shots, and general medical needs
