• Trained a team of 20 nurses in 2016/17 for the ED MedSurg RN Program under the guidance of the Director and Assistant Director of the ED to handle our IP Holds during high surge times in the ED. This program also helped backfill holes within the department.
• Coordination and training of an ED team that consistently met or exceeded emergency response time goals during the 2015-2020 fiscal year for Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI's.
• Attended weekly STEMI meetings from 2015-2020 working closing with physicians and Cath Lab leadership to review STEMIs and address areas for improvement to improve processes within the Emergency Department and improve patient outcomes
• Initiated and rolled out a process/policy for the use of Intranasal Versed/Fentanyl for pediatrics with the help of upper management, pharmacy, and other staff members.
• Collaborated with a team of hospital administration and trauma team members in the development of becoming a Level II Trauma Center, this includes the initial application process. During the application process we trained over 400 RN's and paramedics in 3 months for credentialing to be Trauma ready. Responsible for the ongoing trauma education and training of Nurses and paramedics hospital wide 2019-2020.
• Collaborated with senior leadership on the Chest Pain Accreditation Team representing the Emergency Department
• Collaborated with local EMS, Cardiology, and leadership in the roll out of ONE PUSH for STEMI notifications from the field.
