Summary

Accounting & Business professional, for over 30 years. The majority of my professional career has been with the City of Portland, but I held various positions, in the private sector before this, such as construction management assistant/job cost accounting - American Ecology Corp; Disability Insurance claims adjuster (Standard Insurance); Attorney's Office bookkeeper and receptionist; and many others - so, with this diverse background experience, it would come quickly to me, becoming re-acquainted with databases, such as ORACLE; as well being a quick-study at new databases/platforms. I have worked closely, with PBOT Construction and Design staff, for over 14 years, and am very familiar with supporting project teams, reviewing and evaluating project charges, completing cost and funding transfers, maintaining project budgets, and generating documentation; as well as the federal and state legislation, affecting construction contracts - and, I have experience reviewing contracts, as well as managing A/R billing, and reconciliations; creating new processes (including implementing new platforms and databases), for several of my former employers, not just at the City.

I have been experienced, in many modules of SAP Finance & Logistics, since the City went live with that database, in November 2008. Prior to that, I had experience with ORACLE, and Evergreen, as well as smaller databases, such as QuickBooks.
