• Oversee 9 key programs, supported by 18 public and private funding sources of approximately $13m of agency's overall budget.
• Successfully authored and secured grants for Journey to Wealth, ERA1 & ERA2, Fair Housing, Workforce Development and SYEP.
• Works closely with President and CEO and Senior V.P. to develop and accomplish programming goals and create programming direction and vision.

Financial Empowerment Services team offers financial services to individuals to encourage economic self-sufficiency, family stabilization and homeless prevention services.

Director responsibilities are to ensure performance and outcomes by, organizing and directing the following programs and activities: Fair Housing, Financial Empowerment Institute, Homebuyers Education, Housing Stabilization and Incubate-Her (an initiative to support women achieve their dreams of creating generational wealth).

• Distributed $2.5m to over 850 households in rent and utility assistance
• Authored customer centric financial literacy program titled Journey to Wealth that is being trademarked and copyrighted for CUL
• Handled 300+ Fair Housing Complaints and reached 80% resolution with tenant-landlord mediation
• Home Buyer Education resulted in 40 closings

Responsible for leading day-to-day organizational operations of Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC) including core programming and service initiatives and building the brand of the organization. Focused on ensuring the achievement of key performance goals, developing and implementing the strategic plan to deliver effective and efficient operations. Providing staff professional development, one on one counseling to MBAC clients, originating and conducting meetings with community leaders, state and local officials, providing and directing professional services for MBAC clients. Other duties include:

• Authored a grant for $600,000 for a 2 year program cycle and raised match funds of $150,000 from community resource partners
• Coordinate ongoing and future collaborations/strategic initiatives related to innovation and/or entrepreneurship
• Development and management of 'Driving for Growth Curriculum' including utilizing the entrepreneurial network to identify guest speakers, mentors, panelists, facilitation and development of unique content that is relevant to MBAC constituents.
• Create Balanced Scorecard strategic plan to manage internal operations while executing Business Development initiatives to serve 3,000 + clients

• Conducted interviews with key business users to collect information on business processes and user requirements.
• Mapped process activities to identify shortfalls and propose options to rectify operational inefficiencies.
• Consulted with individual business units to determine desired learning outcomes.
• Built library of models and reusable knowledge-base assets to produce consistent and streamlined business intelligence results.
