• Manage the back office team of 15 that includes processing, underwriting, closing, compliance pre-closing audits, HMDA, post closing, booking and shipping.
• Responsible for writing the Quality Credit Policy for their FHA application and revising the conventional QCP. Completed the application process to enable the bank to receive their FHA lender ID with the Department of Housing so that they may originate FHA loans. I also did the same process with the VA and renewed their relationship with the USDA.
• Participated in a team that was brought in to find ways to develop and implement ways to streamline our procedures and find cost cutting opportunities for the bank. We were able to find 67 viable ways to save over a million dollars for ANBTX without the need to add any additional FTE.
• Worked closely with other teams in the bank, such as sales and compliance to create a more cohesive relationship with our group and theirs.
• Worked with our IT department to create a Mortgage Department shared drive that we are going to co-own with our sales partners. To date we have all of our portfolio product guides uploaded as well as agency selling guides, updates and helpful tools and tips.

• Managing as many as 90 Sr. Underwriters of all skill levels from contractors to conventional and government.  
• Coached and grew conventional staff underwriters to receive their DE designation with the Department of Housing. 
• Participated in teams that developed and vetted Chase credit policy and made changed to keep up with industry updates and trends.  
• Managed a team of 24 Loan Quality Underwriters that audited the underwriting of Sr. Underwriters. These quality rating determined their ability to maintain lending authority.
