Co-manager for the Semiconductor for All grant valued at $10M to promote and enable education leaders at Boise State University to develop outreach events and courses for stronger education pathways into the semiconductor industry for students from elementary school through high school and from bachelor’s to Ph.D. degree programs. Manages and oversees processes related to the development and ongoing revisions of academic related initiatives. Department liaison for multiple campus visits partnered with Micron Technology through the UPWARDS initiative to develop relationships with foreign universities to promote curriculum and collaborations within the semiconductor/microelectronics industry. Contributor to institutional change related to student success by supporting continuous improvement action planning, assessment, and modifications. Conducts research and summarizes data to inform the MER Senior Executive Director for decision making, evaluate program effectiveness and to inform program development. Co-creator of the MER Institute’s new website and social media accounts, provides guidance and inputs to market and promote the MER Institute to various on and off campus organizations. Member of the MER Institute Industry and Campus Advisory Boards; liaison between local semiconductor industry representatives and campus research faculty members.
Accomplishments:
Manages the $800K budget and $500K computer equipment inventory program. Responsible for the $35K credit card budget and procurement for classroom and faculty requirements. Develops account receivable/payable invoices for on and off campus organization for student projects and development. Coordinates all department marketing/outreach on and off campus events, plans multiple school visits for faculty members to recruit future students. Works with multiple federal and state agencies to schedule meetings, review budgets, and projects for the GIMM Program Director and student development team. Advised the Chief Operating Officer on personal matters, task accomplishment, and strategic planning requirements in support of United States military inpatient and outpatient hospitals. Collaborated daily with a 15-member senior executive suite team to develop policy, oversee safety, and execute a $20 million dollar operations budget.
