Manage a team of 15 that handle all aspects of back- end processes for the imaging department. This includes pre-services, payment posting, AR follow-up, customer service and coding.

Since Imaging billing was new to Adventist when we joined, my immediate responsibilities included implementation of a new billing software, engagement of statement and collection vendors and training of a new coding vendor to manage manage work for our hospital locations.

As part of ongoing QA and productivity management, I collaborate with other team members to meet goals. In addition, my work includes the following tasks and responsibilities:


  • Establish performance goals for employees and provide feedback on methods for reaching those milestones.
  • Assist in organizing and overseeing assignments to drive operational excellence.
  • Resolve staff member conflicts, actively listening to concerns and finding appropriate middle ground.
