Work History
Legal Assistant 2
WASHINGTON STATE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS
03.2020 - 04.2024
I scheduled Unemployment Appeal Hearing for 4 Administrative Law Judges (ALJ) doing 4 to 7 hearings a day.
When everything was shut down at the beginning of COVID we started working remotely
OAH was hit with over 50,000 cases from the Employment Security office
OAH hired a lot of ALJ's and more support staff because we only had 3 schedulers at the time.
To cover the growing number of cases it was decided to have Evening and Weekend hearings
I was their scheduler and support person for a little over 3 years
OAH uses PRISM (it is the Data Base our IT team created)
This has allowed OAH to go totally paperless
I have been working remotely for the last year from AL.
Increased client satisfaction by efficiently managing case files and promptly addressing inquiries.
Maintained strict confidentiality, protecting sensitive client information as required by legal ethics and regulations.
Improved communication between attorneys and clients by scheduling meetings, providing status updates, and relaying critical information promptly.
