  • I scheduled Unemployment Appeal Hearing for 4 Administrative Law Judges (ALJ) doing 4 to 7 hearings a day.
  • When everything was shut down at the beginning of COVID we started working remotely
  • OAH was hit with over 50,000 cases from the Employment Security office
  • OAH hired a lot of ALJ's and more support staff because we only had 3 schedulers at the time.
  • To cover the growing number of cases it was decided to have Evening and Weekend hearings
  • I was their scheduler and support person for a little over 3 years
  • OAH uses PRISM (it is the Data Base our IT team created)
  • This has allowed OAH to go totally paperless
  • I have been working remotely for the last year from AL.
