Jed-Lee Metayer is a 23 year-old, self-taught Haitian artist based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He currently specializes in vibrant abstract patterns using acrylic paint on canvas. His artistic philosophy revolves around positivity, self-love, mental health, and spirituality. He pushes the boundaries of his color pallettes despite being color-blind. Though he knows he can never see his art-work the same way as his viewers, he uses this fact to his advantage and sees it more as a strength than a weakness. He currently volunteers as a children's art teacher and youth leader at his late father's church in Plantation, Florida.
