Within the scope of my duties included the short and long range planning of golf course maintenance, planning and implementing course improvements, irrigation operation and repairs and assisting the shop manager within any equipment related issues.
As the Regional Account Manager I represented both Rainbird Golf and Atlantic Irrigation product lines. While based primarily in
New Jersey I would regularly call on clients in Staten Island and Eastern Pa.. In my role as the regional representative I would regularly prospect for new business, maintain relationships with our existing customer base, work with the various branches in the territory on any level needed, design and present technical demonstrations and generally try to be the best "face" of the company I could. I am happy to say that I still get calls from people I used to call on who may be stumped or have a problem that may be a little beyond their experience.
